Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How far in advance do I have to order my Ice Sculpture?
A. We suggest that you call us as soon as you decide to have an ice sculpture at your event. If you are not ready to make your selection, it is a good idea to put down a deposit to secure your date on our calendar.
Q. How do I choose a design and where can I see them?
A. We will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come into our showroom to look through pictures in our albums and you may also view designs on this web site. Of course, we are always delighted to design one that will be an expression of your personalities or a complement to the overall theme of your event décor.
Q. What is the size of an average Ice Sculpture?
A. Ice Sculptures are designed on 300 pound ice blocks. The dimensions for a one block sculpture is 40" high x 20" wide x 10" in depth. After your design has been sculptured the weight will be approximately 150 to 200 pounds. Your reception location will provide a banquet table that will support this weight. If the design you select requires more than one block, we will be happy to discuss the set up arrangement with your banquet host.
Q. What is the price range for an Ice Sculpture?
A. One block sculptures range from $269 - $350 and double blocks start at $435. The prices vary depending on the style you select. Delivery will be charged according to the distance traveled.
Q. How long will my Sculpture last?
A. Ice sculptures set up indoors will last approximately 6-7 hours depending on the design. Sculpture longevity set up in direct sunlight or at an outdoor event without the proper ventilation will vary according to the temperature.
Q. How is the Ice Sculpture set up on the banquet table?
A. The sculpture will be set up in a tray with a drain. The drain will flow into a bucket under the banquet table. We will provide greens and baby's breathe to cover the tray so it will not be visible as to distract from your ice sculpture.
Q. Do you provide any light?
A. Yes, we will set up a spotlight that will be attached to the tray as long as the banquet table is set up near a wall that will have an electric outlet. We do not recommend electrical extensions be used if the table is set away from the wall, as someone may trip over the wire.
Q. What do I have to provide for the Ice Sculpture?
A. You need to let your reception facility know that you are having an ice sculpture. They must have a banquet table with table linen in place for our arrival. This will eliminate any delay in our set up.
Q. When do you deliver the Ice Sculpture?
A. We will be at the reception location one hour before your guests are scheduled to arrive. Please give us the name of your contact person so we may confirm these arrangements.
Q. How do I arrange payment?
A. We require a $50 deposit for each one block sculpture ordered. The balance is to be paid 3 weeks before your event.
